  •     Nemco Electronics Corporation was founded in New York in 1975 with a charter to become a world class supplier of tantalum capacitors. Sensing a void in the tantalum supply chain after a serious shortage of supply in the early ‘70’s, Nemco’s focus has been to meet the demand for tantalum capacitors in the manufacturing sectors often ignored by competitors. Nemco’s corporate headquarters relocated to Northern California in 1979 in order to be better positioned to service the growing manufacturing population in the West while gaining the added advantage of proximity to the Far East. Nemco’s focus on supplying this one dielectric type, solid tantalum, gives us the advantage of concentrating all of our resources, technology and manpower to offer unsurpassed levels of product quality and customer service to our market which includes the growing contract manufacturing community.
